Drilling Mounting Holes
After removing all the bolts and rivets through the transom in the area where the pod was to be attach, I positioned the pod in place, secured it with cargo straps, and drilled through the existing holes in the transom and into the pod. I then secured the pod to the transom with bolts through these holes and removed the cargo straps. These bolts kept the pod from moving while I loacted and drilled 8 main mounting holes for each pod.
