Bolt-on Pods

After I raised my concerns with Fisher Beavertail, they sent me photos showing how they had modified their pods and installed them by bolting them onto a boat. To do this, they cut an access hole (#1) in the top of each pod. After the pods are installed, a cover (#2) is fastened over each access hole with sealant and screws. At my request, Fisher Beavertail cut the holes in my pods for me and supplied the aluminum plates to use for the covers. I drilled the screw holes that are visible in this photo. I marked one corner on each pod and cover to insure that the holes would line up correctly when I was ready to seal the access holes with the covers.
