The Need
The weight of my Mud Buddy 20hp motor on my 14 foot Jon boat causes the stern to ride lower than I want, in spite of the fact that I have shifted as much weight forward as possible. This has caused me to have some safety concerns about the loading of the boat. I was pleased to learn that Fisher Beavertail Manufacturing, Inc. sells flotation pods that are designed to be welded onto existing Jon boats.
