There were so many American White Pelicans on Lake Red Rock the day I took these shots, that they could be esaily seen as long white lines near the far shore. The pelicans in ths shot are between 1.5 and 2 miles away from the parking lot for the "Box Cars" boat ramp where I was standing to take this shot.
